Tech Lead Position

For a client, we are seeking a Tech Lead to join the Software Modernization team. This role is focused on modernizing applications, enhancing software delivery and operational performance, and guiding teams through technical transformation. The Tech Lead will serve as a bridge between architecture and development, translating solution designs into actionable technical plans for implementation by external partners.

Start Date:

October/November 2025

End Date:

End of 2026 (with an option for extension)

Work Regime:

Full-time, 2 fixed office days per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership across multiple teams
• Define technology implementation strategies
• Support architecture and product owners in roadmap development
• Promote technical standards and best practices
• Ensure quality attributes such as security, maintainability, and scalability
• Reduce technical debt and improve code quality
• Guide cloudification and AI adoption
• Design software blueprints and skeletons
• Improve delivery, patching, and release processes
• Organize inspirational sessions and trainings
• Support business analysts in translating requirements into technical designs
• Review and approve partner deliverables
• Coach teams and conduct code reviews
• Collaborate with offshore teams

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Degree: Master’s in Information Systems or equivalent through experience
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in technical leadership, solution design, or enterprise software development
• Background: Full-stack development, public cloud environments, SDLC vision

Must Have Skills:

• Experience with solution design and architecture
• Knowledge of cloud, AI, CI/CD, databases, security
• Familiarity with enterprise software development and delivery processes
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into business impact
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Experience working with offshore teams
• Tech-agnostic mindset and willingness to explore new technologies
• Background in the telco industry

Nice to Have Skills:

• Java experience
• Previous experience in similar roles
• Experience giving trainings or inspirational sessions
• Affinity with innovation and emerging technologies
