Commercial Strategy Business Consultant

For a client, we are seeking a Commercial Strategy Business Consultant.

End of 2025

Employment Type:

Full-time, with 2 days per week on-site

Responsibilities:

  • Guide sales and marketing teams through strategic transformations.
  • Develop and refine commercial visions and strategies.
  • Analyze and design innovative solutions across departments.
  • Focus on channel strategy and introduce new sales methodologies.
  • Build business cases to support strategic decisions.
  • Lead project management efforts, including roadmap intake and execution.
  • Define acceptance criteria and lead change management and adoption.
  • Improve lead-to-order processes and provide expert advice.
  • Monitor transformation progress and report on adoption of metrics.
  • Ability to translate between sales and technical domains and stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Degree: Master or Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent through experience.
  • Experience: 5–7 years in a commercial or technical environment.
  • Must-have skills:
    • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
    • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
    • Affinity with sales and marketing.
    • Knowledge of business processes, IT, and/or network environments.
    • Experience with business cases and process modeling.
    • Fluent in Dutch and English.
    • Team player, resilient, customer-focused, proactive, persuasive.
    • Hands-on mentality.

Nice to haves:

  • Affinity with the telecom sector.
  • Experience in agile environments.
  • Salesforce and Jira skills.
  • Proficiency in French is a nice-to-have.
