Compliance Consultant Senior

For a client, we are seeking a Compliance Consultant Senior. We are looking for a temporary Compliance Consultant to support Consumer Protection activities. This role focuses on providing expert compliance advice related to retail banking products and services, including mortgage loans, consumer loans, SME financing, current accounts, and market practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft clear, actionable compliance advice to business stakeholders.
• Review and advise on client-facing products, communications, and processes.
• Conduct compliance checks and contribute to policy updates.
• Deliver training and awareness sessions on relevant regulations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations.
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance.

Profile Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in Law.
• Solid understanding of consumer protection regulations.
• At least 5 years of experience in compliance or a related advisory function.
• Experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., branch operations) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholder requests and prioritize effectively.
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and a good command of English.
• Knowledge or interest in data protection is a plus.
