Functional Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Perform complex business, functional, or process analysis based on solutions designed by the Lead Analyst.
- Act as a liaison between business and technology, providing expert advice on domain topics.
- Build transversal domain knowledge in operations, products, and services.
- Understand regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the industry.
- Apply advanced modeling languages/tools for analysis.
- Maintain basic technical knowledge of domain systems.
- Utilize project management methods and concepts.
- Ensure security requirements, architectural standards, and non-functional requirements are met.
- Follow industry and technology trends to recommend innovative solutions.
- Ensure qualitative solutions using various testing techniques.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify needs, translate them into functional requirements, and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with test teams and end users to set up test scenarios.
- Define impact and quickly intervene with solutions in case of critical incidents.
- Suggest improvements to resolve issues and prevent future incidents.
- Maintain domain systems to ensure 100% availability.
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and available to stakeholders.
- Develop training materials for stakeholders on new systems or processes.
- Design features for a more client-centric or efficient service offering/organization.
- Coach analysts and associates to foster cooperation and increase productivity.
- Explain processes, software, and tools to end users.
- Challenge existing team processes and tools, seeking improvement opportunities.
- Define impact of changes and suggest efficiency improvements for processes/tools.
- Coordinate activities within the domain, including task distribution, planning, and progress follow-up.
- Conduct analysis, design, implementation, high-level cost estimation, and testing.
- Provide detailed and consolidated reporting to stakeholders, highlighting attention points and suggesting solutions.
- Exemplify customer thinking, suggest solutions to problems, and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
- Maintain a professional approach and foster a growth mindset.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in at least one national language (Dutch or French) and ability to read/understand French, Dutch, and English.
- Experience in managing applications that support securities characteristics, transactions, and services.
- Understanding of securities plans, savings plans, stock options, and shareholdership plans.
