Change Manager Position

Location: Brussels

Languages: English + Dutch and/or French

Start Date: 01/11/2025

End Date: 31/10/2027

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement communication, training, and stakeholder management actions.
  • Create clear and engaging communication materials in collaboration with the communications team and project analysts.
  • Organize events and assess the needs and impacts of ongoing projects and initiatives in terms of change management.
  • Define an appropriate change plan in collaboration with the team manager and program/project managers.
  • Identify activities and resources required to deliver change initiatives successfully.
  • Influence and persuade stakeholders while demonstrating flexibility and the ability to operate in complex environments.
  • Connect with all levels of the organization in high-resistance environments and be present with operational teams.
  • Support the Corporate Change Manager in defining the action plan to foster a change-oriented culture.
  • Contribute to the development and positioning of the team and department by supporting various projects and initiatives.
  • Develop adoption approaches for technological solutions and analyze impacts.
  • Support the Culture Office in cultural initiatives and change.
  • Simplify Change Office processes and support crisis management activities.
  • Facilitate coaching workshops and team sessions and promote AGILE approaches.
  • Work with public stakeholders and provide support to technical teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience applying PROSCI or ADKAR methodologies.
  • Senior-level experience (8 years) as a Change Manager.
  • Experience in change management within a Belgian public service organization.
  • Experience in developing and implementing an organizational-level change strategy.
  • Experience in managing a team dedicated to Change Management.
  • Experience in managing suppliers and external stakeholders within a change project.
  • Senior-level experience (5 years) in organizational and strategic change management.
  • Experience in supporting and coaching Team Leads during organizational transformations.
  • Medior-level experience (2 years) in supporting and managing change with technical teams.
  • Experience in change impact analysis and developing a change adoption journey.
  • Experience with the HURI methodology.
  • Certification in Change Management (ADKAR / PROSCI).
  • Experience in the energy sector is desirable.
  • Perfect knowledge of one of the two national languages (French or Dutch) is required.
  • Good knowledge of English is desirable.
