Solution Architect Opportunity

Location: Belgium

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure solutions align with strategic goals and deliver high performance, security, and scalability.
• Analyze legacy systems and solutions across multiple business and technical domains to define solution-specific rationalization strategies.
• Ensure that target solutions are scalable, secure, and meet industry best practices.
• Develop detailed design documentation, including network, infrastructure, and application diagrams.
• Provide different rationalization options to senior leadership, considering cost, security, architectural roadmaps, and business continuity.
• Ensure integration with existing and future IT landscapes and operating models.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 15+ years of proven experience in solution architecture within international and federated environments.
• Extensive experience with end-to-end solution design across different technical layers and domains (IAM, cloud, application, network, security).
• Extensive experience with cloud migrations and infrastructure re-platforming.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct presentations at an executive level.
• Open-mindedness and a collaborative approach, capable of engaging with various stakeholders.
• Ability to drive, coach, and coordinate a cross-functional team of IT engineers.
• Analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make strategic recommendations.

Desired Skills:

• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in either French or Dutch is necessary, with both being a plus.
• Previous experience with public sector clients and familiarity with the specific client is advantageous.
• Bilingual proficiency in Dutch and French at a business level is preferred.
