Role: Infrastructure Security Solution Architect

Location: Brussels

Work Regime: Full-time, 2 office days per week

Responsibilities:

• Deliver end-to-end solution design for cross-division IT initiatives and cross-security domains.
• Define and realize architecture solutions that meet functional, non-functional, security, and resilience requirements.
• Collaborate with requirement owners, tribe leads, and product owners from ideation to realization.
• Lead IT engineers and application experts to design quality end-to-end solutions.
• Act as a liaison between Enterprise Architecture and IT delivery teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Participate in the development of Solution Architecture & Engineering practices.
• Work closely with CISO product owners to address product requirements and services.
• Support the definition of capability target architectures and roadmaps.
• Engage in communities of practice with other solution and enterprise architects.

Profile:

• Over 10 years of experience in the IT industry with proven experience reporting to senior management.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry and understanding of complex regulatory environments is a plus.
• Experience as an architect on Cyber Security projects and large, complex programs.
• Experience as an end-to-end solution architect on large-scale transformation projects.
• Ability to handle systems and problems of various complexity across functions, locations, and organizations.
• Capable of conducting architectural analysis and providing pragmatic recommendations.
• Ability to create strategic position papers and reference architectures, and address technical implementation challenges.
• Provide advice and expertise to Enterprise Architects.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and advocacy for architecture recommendations.
• Ability to build strong relationships and coach new team members.
• Knowledge of post-trade market infrastructures, Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SAFE), Cyber Security Architecture, and RISK frameworks (SABSA, ISO 27k, NIST) is an asset.
• Proficiency in English is required.
