Description:
The DBS department empowers all business units with evolving technologies and autonomous computing capabilities. Within DBS, the IT Production department manages the infrastructure and operates systems and applications that underpin the information system. IT Exploitation, a service of the IT Production department, focuses on the technical layer of business applications. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and configuring the application’s technical aspects for each environment.
- Deploying releases and changes through different non-production and production environments.
- Ensuring application availability and performance, including monitoring and reporting.
- Ensuring Enterprise Service Bus’s (ESB) availability and performance.
- Operating and following the production plan (Scheduling).
- Providing standard services and handling events, incidents, and problem resolution.
- Proposing and implementing continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Deployment Coordination
- Create the Global Implementation Plan for major application releases and infrastructure changes.
- Organize the coordination and execution of all required deployment activities.
- Allocate resources to meet deployment schedules.
- Lead deployment of minor and major application/infrastructure releases.
- Oversee environment refresh preparations and executions.
- Ensure that non-functional requirements are properly addressed and managed.
- Be the Point of Contact for the assessment and management of impacts and risks, specifically for third-party applications.
- Recommend and implement process and efficiency enhancements.
- Report on “work in progress” status.
- Document events or raise alerts if needed.
- Participate in CAB and release review meetings.
- Stay current with IT standards and innovations; share insights with the team.
Service Delivery Operations
- Monitor and coordinate day-to-day service delivery to meet customer needs and contractual requirements (SLAs).
- Ensure the maintenance (evolutive, preventive, corrective) of service delivered.
- Serve as primary customer liaison for requests, concerns, and feedback.
- Ensure SLAs are achieved in quality, timeliness, and cost.
- Drive resolution of incidents and problems in collaboration with technical teams.
- Manage change requests, assess their impact, and coordinate their implementation.
- Analyze service performance (metrics), identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions.
- Contribute to defining and implementing Service Delivery foundation (e.g., guidelines and principles).
Skills Required:
- Proven experience in Release Management (3 years).
- Proven experience in rolling-out infrastructure releases (2 years).
- Proven experience in Service Delivery Management (3 years).
- Proven experience with people management (cross team) (3 years).
- Proven experience with the ITIL methodology.
- Fluent in French and Dutch, good in English.
- Proven experience with agile methodology.
