Business Analyst (Medior/Senior)

Location: Antwerpen

Project Duration: ASAP – 31/12/2025, extension possible

Responsibilities:

• Analyze epics and business features to support strategic goals.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, development teams, and management to optimize processes and achieve the roadmap.
• Understand business needs and translate them into conceptual solutions.
• Participate in workshops with key stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer between business and IT.
• Communicate clearly with the business to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
• Identify and map out bottlenecks, taking and defending positions as necessary.
• Translate insights into clear and achievable user stories and product backlog items (PBIs) in coordination with the product team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Plan-based, independent, and result-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Communicative team player with a hands-on mentality.
• Able to handle change and flexibility in project requirements and priorities.
• Resilient under pressure and thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.

Experience:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis within larger organizations.
• Familiarity with Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Experience with process modeling, business feature mapping, and user story writing.
• Skilled in stakeholder management using analysis tools and techniques.
• Essential insurance knowledge for the execution of the job.
