Solutions Architect Infrastructure - Linux Specialist
We are looking for a Solutions Architect Infrastructure - Linux Specialist for a client in Brussels.
Start date: As soon as possible
Location: Brussels, 1 day per week on site
Languages: English and one national language (Dutch or French)
Responsibilities:
Managing and optimising Linux environments (both on-premise and in the cloud).
Designing Linux architectures with a focus on scalability, security and innovation.
Developing Ansible playbooks and Terraform modules for automation.
Implementing GitOps workflows and CI/CD integrations.
Monitoring and logging with Dynatrace.
Managing Linux Identity Management (IdM/FreeIPA).
Ensuring security hardening and compliance with requirements.
Coaching and mentoring fellow Linux engineers.
Documenting procedures and best practices.
Advising development teams on Linux-related solutions.
Who we are looking for:
At least 5 years of experience in Linux system administration in enterprise environments.
Thorough knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, Git, and GitOps.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Argo CD.
Familiarity with monitoring via Dynatrace.
In-depth knowledge of Linux Identity Management (IdM).
Strong knowledge of network configuration, firewalls, DNS and load balancing.
Certifications such as RHCE, Terraform Associate or CKA are a plus.
Proactive mindset, strong analytical skills and solution-oriented.
Strong coaching skills and team orientation.
