IAM Consultant

Location: Antwerpen

Project Duration: ASAP – 31/12/2025, extension possible.

Description and Tasks:

We are looking for a Digital Expert to strengthen our digital transformation, focusing initially on Identity & Access Management (IAM). You will report to the Domain Product Manager on IAM topics and help define and implement the strategic direction of identity and access capabilities. This includes building on existing initiatives and setting up new ones to enhance our secured digital identity. Your role will evolve over time, with opportunities to contribute to broader digital initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and lead workshops to gather strategic and technical input.
• Translate IAM strategies into concrete deliverables (e.g., capabilities, solutions, roadmap).
• Analyze existing identity/access processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement IAM solutions.
• Ensure alignment with architecture, security standards, and business goals.
• Act as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation.
• Promote IAM awareness and adoption across the organization.
• Close collaboration with relevant groups.

Profile and Experience:

Profile:

1. Strong conceptual understanding of IAM principles and technologies (e.g., 2FA, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SSO, RBAC, identity federation).
2. Knowledge of IAM Tools (e.g., Azure AD, Keycloak, ForgeRock).
3. Security and compliance awareness (GDPR, ISO 27001).
4. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
5. Structured and result-oriented approach to strategy and delivery, analytical thinking.
6. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-relevant language.
7. Proactive mindset with strong facilitation and collaboration skills.
8. Affinity with the sector 
9. Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

Required Experience:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in IAM or other relevant security experience.
• Experience in organizing and leading workshops with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record in delivering strategic roadmaps and digital capabilities.
• Familiarity with IAM tools and frameworks (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, ForgeRock).
• Experience in stakeholder management and change enablement.
• Experienced project lead.
