Senior Business Analyst - LAM/Process Expert

Location: Brussels
Work Regime: Full-time, 2 office days per week
Objectives:
- Support the Project Lead in defining the scope by understanding the overall objectives and constraints in the field of Identity and Access Management.
- Collect requirements and transform them into structured and comprehensive work products.
- Develop and maintain the benefits profile through to metrics and ensure business ownership.
- Provide guidance on Mainframe LAM processes, data, and roles.
- Define clear acceptance criteria to serve as a comprehensive test set.
- Analyze the Target Operating Model and implementation/migration approach to refine and validate scope and requirements, and identify changes.
- Organize BA resources, identify and direct ownership of solution domains.
- Develop a view of BA resource demand/capacity through the Epic lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Identify the need to perform feasibility studies and mitigate risks.
- Work closely with Business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements (functional and non-functional) and translate them into technical specifications.
- Define the approach to requirements gathering, and elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
- Define the approach to data analysis, migration, and data cleansing.
- Create and document business processes using BPMN (Business Process Modelling Notation) tools.
- Contribute to solution integration and implementation or migration strategy, identifying new scope and requirements, e.g., for parallel operation of as-is and to-be processes.
- Contribute to Business Change Impact Assessment in collaboration with Change Management teams to ensure that new capabilities and services are adopted for the benefit of the organization.
- Analyze the impact and security risks of new service development on the current system.
- Capitalize on existing security measures or mitigations in place and identify benefit profiles.
- Facilitate communication between the business, IT teams, and key contributors during the project delivery phase.
- Define a test approach for the identified requirements to ensure that the initiative delivers the expected solution.
- Participate in the validation of the solution through testing and ensure the traceability of the results.
- Update internal and external documentation to ensure it is up to date, such as standard operating procedures (SOPs) or training material.
- Drive and secure the operational readiness of the project solution.
- Use in-house methodology for the creation of clear and concise documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst.
- Understanding of Identity Management, including access (de)provisioning, role-based access control, joiner/mover/leaver (“JML”) activities, ServiceNow integrations, knowledge of access control models and policies, security protocols, and standards such as SAML, OAuth.
- Experience onboarding applications in an IAM tool.
- Experience in process design and implementation.
- Analytical and critical mindset, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (listening, writing, and presenting) at all levels.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders to understand and meet their requirements.
- Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Professional English proficiency.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Understanding of current IAM regulations and standards.
- Understanding of Mainframe and RACF.
- Experience with LAM for Mainframe applications and security sub-system data models.
- Certifications in Business Analysis like CBAP, ECBA, or CCBA.
- Business process modeling and experience with process mapping tools like Adonis or Visio.
