Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Laakdal

Responsibilities:

• Develop new capabilities for customs and trade stakeholders.
• Refine, implement, and verify features and user stories.
• Write and update technical documentation.
• Implement new or updated solutions into production.
• Provide L3 support for applications owned by the scrum team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education in computer science, electronics, or equivalent through experience.
• Highly motivated and able to work autonomously.
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Strong Java development experience; knowledge of React is a plus.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, serverless, REST services, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience developing AI agents in Databricks (Python) is a plus.
• Working experience in logistics or the trade domain is a plus.

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in Java (Spring/Quarkus), Python, and React.
• Comfortable with a cloud-native environment (AWS).
• Quality-conscious with strong communication skills tailored to the audience.
• Ability to take ownership and demonstrate professional responsibility.
