Life Insurance Data Tester

Responsibilities:

• Migrate individual life insurance policies.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for data validation activities.
• Execute manual and automated data testing procedures.
• Document evidence of testing and ensure full coverage of test scenarios.
• Design and implement automated programs and queries to support efficient testing.
• Collaborate with business owners to validate test results and ensure alignment with business expectations.
• Prepare and manage test data using mainframe systems for various testing phases.
• Support transversal testing activities.
• Review and challenge testing activities from other data migration phases to ensure consistency and quality.
• Support in defect root cause analysis.
• Provide regular progress reports on data testing activities and outcomes.
• Manage and prioritize defects, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
• Generate on-demand data extracts or reports for the migrated life insurance portfolio.

Profile:

• Imperative knowledge in life insurance.
• Proven successful experience in data analysis and/or data testing.
• Proficiency in SQL or other query languages for data validation.
• Knowledge in life insurance migrations.
• Strong commitment to project quality and deadlines, with a "can-do" attitude and flexibility.
• Autonomous and proactive in finding solutions to obtain necessary information.
• University degree in data, mathematics, economics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance sector.
• Proficient in French and English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Structured, organized (good priority management), and pragmatic.
• Strong adaptability and learning ability.
• Effective communication with all audiences (actuaries, IT experts, management, etc.).
• Client and results-oriented.
