For a client, we are looking for a Senior Java Developer with experience as a Scrum Master.

As a Java Developer, you will join the Orion team to handle development, testing, application security, and work organization as a Scrum Master.
The team focuses on the digitalization and online management of various cases, such as compensation for victims of terrorism, disability pensions for injured military personnel, and other similar projects.
Adapt or create code.
Refactor existing code when necessary.
Create and execute unit and component tests.
Manage the deployment of new features/updates.
Collaborate with the application architect to define the most suitable architecture.
Ensure the quality and compliance of the developed application.
Identify and correct technical debt.
Perform unit and integration testing to prevent regressions.
In-depth knowledge of the Java J2EE stack (ORM/Hibernate, EJB3, web services).
Knowledge of SOAP and REST web services.
Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
Familiarity with quality assurance processes and tools.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and incremental development.
Ability to create a technical design based on analysis.
Ability to break down applications into deliverable code increments.
Proactive, persistent, assertive, and a strong team player.
Curious and motivated to bring added value to the organization.
Professional, open to feedback, autonomous, and initiative-driven.
Able to set priorities and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
Capable of coaching junior and mid-level developers.
Mastery of technical skills: Java, XML, REST and SOAP web services, SQL (advanced queries).
Modeling: UML, BPMN.
Tools: Java Ecosystem, J2EE stack, Git, CI/CD in Jenkins, IntelliJ, Opengrok, Miro, CI/CD techniques, Spring.
Methodology: Agile.
Soft skills: mentoring junior developers.
Leadership skills: experience as a team lead / Scrum Master.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
A Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is an asset.
Experience in a public sector organization is an advantage.
Full-time availability as of the requested start date.
Active knowledge of one of the two national languages and at least a passive understanding of the other.
