For a client, we are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in chemistry to join a software development team. The ideal candidate will have studied chemistry, biochemistry, biotech, or related fields in higher education, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through experience. The team is responsible for developing systems that support the discovery of molecules for pharmaceutical products, requiring a high scientific level and an academic background in chemistry/biochemistry/biotech.

Job Description:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders to support the design and development of custom-built software solutions.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development team.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to ensure requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented.
• Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement, and stakeholder reviews to align priorities and manage evolving requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support testing and validation activities by assisting in test case design, user acceptance testing, and ensuring delivered solutions meet business expectations.

Candidate Must-Haves:

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Demonstrable background in chemistry, biochemistry, biotech, or a related field.
• Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills, including writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and wireframes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience facilitating workshops and bridging the gap between business and technical teams.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.
• Ability to work in a global team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
• Impeccable professional proficiency in English.
