Job Title: Business Analyst KYC Automation
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 30/04/2026, with an option for extension
Location: Brussel
Language Proficiency: Proficient in French and English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Automate and digitalize AML KYC processes.
- Analyze KYC processes and data management.
- Define associated requirements and formalize them according to defined quality standards.
- Identify the process and data impacts of the KYC process.
- Ensure understanding between the business and IT.
- Prepare and execute process and calculation tests.
- Act as an intermediary between business and IT teams.
- Provide regular reporting on the progress of activities.
- Ensure effective collaboration with numerous stakeholders (IT, Operations, Business, Distribution, etc.) and develop a trustful relationship with clients and suppliers.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Understanding of regulatory obligations (KYC, AML, etc.) and their application in the context of life insurance.
- Familiar with identity verification processes.
- Proven successful experience as a Business Analyst and process analyst.
- Familiar with at least one standard business/process analysis methodology.
- Knowledge of the contract lifecycle and the high-level value chain of a life insurance company.
- Ability to identify various business processes that could serve as triggers for recertification.
- Ability to map, analyze, and propose improvements to existing KYC processes.
- Critical thinking and ability to challenge expressed needs.
- Ability to translate business needs into language understandable by technical teams, without having to write technical specifications.
- Detail-oriented while capable of finding the effective level of abstraction based on context.
- Familiar with various data constraints.
- Familiar with service-oriented architectures (APIs, microservices).
- Basic understanding of automation solutions.
- Able to act as a bridge between Business and IT.

Other Requirements:
- University degree in mathematics (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the life/banking insurance sector.
- Autonomous and proactive in finding solutions to obtain necessary information.
- Structured, organized (good priority management), and pragmatic.
- Strong adaptability and learning ability.
