For a client we are seeking a Senior Project & Operations Manager to join the Technology Corporate Centre team.
Objective of the Role
The Senior Project & Operations Manager will be responsible for preparing and executing key IT projects for the Corporate Centre, as well as managing several ongoing activities within the Tech Corporate Centre team. This role includes projects within the Corporate Centre and across the wider group.
Responsibilities
- Lead Business/IT projects and perform analysis.
- Define project goals and scope with business owners and stakeholders, and manage projects through various stages.
- Develop projects/programs with a Corporate Centre or Group scope.
- Handle contracting with Legal & Procurement functions for internal and external parties.
- Plan, schedule, and follow up on project activities.
- Manage project scope, quality, budget, and time.
- Perform functional and technical analysis in collaboration with business and technical teams.
- Facilitate vendor selection and contracting with external parties.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage external parties involved in projects.
- Report project status to PMO and steering committees, applying the PMO methodology.
- Deliver analysis documents and documentation using Office tools, Aris, and Confluence.
- Set up and execute billing of services owned by the Corporate Centre.
- Negotiate SLAs with group companies and external parties.
- Manage various types of projects, including new business services, security, infrastructure, functional applications, audit/risk, legal, and financial.
- Ensure security compliance in all activities, adhering to ISO27K standards.
Run Activities
- Participate in BAU activities such as IT Risk & Business Continuity Management, Incident & Problem Management, Change Management, IT Security, and financial follow-up of IT Services.
- Act as a single point of contact for IT Services offered by the Corporate Centre to operating companies.
Profile
- Minimum 15 years of experience as an IT Project Manager with experience in run activities.
- Strong analytical skills and IT technical affinity.
- Ability to develop new concepts and operating models from scratch.
- Broad interest and capability to address challenges in various Business & IT domains.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Hands-on attitude with the ability to manage both small and large initiatives.
- Strong leadership skills and autonomy in driving activities and projects.
- Experience in IT finance and IT contracting.
- Ability to work with various levels within the company, including technical and business personnel up to C-level.
- Experience in IT Security principles and best practices, with a focus on secure working environments.
Internal and External Contacts
- Collaborate daily with Group Technology and Corporate Centre Technology teams.
- Weekly reporting to PMO and collaboration with Business IT Spocs/Project Portfolio Managers.
- Regular interaction with Enterprise Architects and Information Security teams.
- Engage with senior management, procurement, legal, and audit teams as needed.
