Test Engineer (Medior Level)
Location: Antwerp (2 days on-site)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 31/12/2025 (with possibility of extension)
Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Management: Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automation: Implement test automation to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Testing: Conduct independent functional and non-functional testing.
- UI Test Automation: Establish and maintain automated UI testing frameworks.
- Integration Testing: Set up and improve integration testing (.NET + Httpclient).
- Testing Strategy: Define and implement testing strategies across all development levels.
- Cross-Team Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with cross-team members to resolve issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Set up and manage monitoring tools to ensure application performance and availability.
Tools Used:
- Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, MS SQL Server, Jira, Postman, Swagger, HangFire, Tosca, Virtuoso, TestSigma, Splunk, Jenkins, Enterprise Architect, Figma, Webdriver .NET, SOAPUI, ReadyAPI, Notepad++.
Profile and Experience:
- Experience Level: Medior profile (3 to 5 years of relevant experience).
- Technical Background: Preferably in a Microsoft environment (Visual Studio, C#, Git, MS SQL Server).
- API Testing: Experience in testing APIs and sync/async web services (SOAP and REST/RESTful) in a SOA environment with SoapUI Pro / ReadyAPI Test.
- Programming Knowledge: Basic knowledge of an object-oriented programming language (preferably C#).
- CI/CD Integration: Experience with integration in Azure DevOps (Azure Portal, Terraform).
- UI Test Automation: Experience with UI test automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
- Large Environment Experience: Work experience in a large, complex environment with DevOps culture.
- Critical Thinking and Communication: Critical thinking mindset and good communication skills as a team player.
- Commitment: Willingness to commit for the long term in an Agile way of working.
- Version Control: Basic knowledge of Git (or another version control system).
- Unit Testing: Basic understanding of what should be unit tested by developers and what not.
- TDD: Knowledge in Transition To Test Driven Development.
- Contract Testing: Basic knowledge of creating stubs and drivers/contract testing.
- Offshore Teams: Experience working with offshore teams.
- Certification: ISTQB or similar Test Methodology.
