Role Description:

We are looking for an experienced external consultant to join our Digital Portfolio Management team. This team is pivotal in managing a hybrid portfolio of digital products and projects, playing a central role in the digital transformation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing complex, multi-entity digital portfolios and driving transformation in a hybrid (project/product) environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Portfolio Management
   • Support the execution of portfolio governance processes, including yearly business planning and arbitrage processes.
   • Collect information, assess NPV calculations, and prepare arbitrage decisions for management in collaboration with Strategy and Controlling.
   • Prepare and evolve input formats for quarterly portfolio steering processes, ensuring information quality.
   • Maintain and improve portfolio tooling and reporting structures.
   • Track and report on program roadmaps, milestones, and KPIs.
   • Ensure alignment with delivery teams and local portfolio leads.
   • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on portfolio data and trends.
   • Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization of portfolio processes.
2. Strategic Portfolio Steering
   • Support the implementation and tracking of the digital transformation roadmap.
   • Drive the development of capability-based portfolio steering.
   • Ensure alignment between portfolio initiatives and strategic objectives.
   • Facilitate cross-entity collaboration and stakeholder alignment.
   • Contribute to the evolution of portfolio management practices toward a platform- and cloud-based digital delivery model.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while ensuring high quality and accuracy.
• Hands-on mentality with a curious, analytical, accurate, proactive, and result-driven approach.
• Proven experience in digital portfolio management within complex, multinational environments.
• Strong understanding of hybrid delivery models (projects and products).
• Familiarity with digital transformation programs and capability-based planning.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across diverse organizational cultures.
• Experience with portfolio management tools and methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, OKRs).
• Collaborative team player who can work effectively with different cultures and diverse teams.
• Fluent in English and French/Dutch; German language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel depending on business needs, mainly to Berlin.
