Lead Integration Platform Engineer

Start Date: January 2026

Experience Level: Senior (10-15 years)

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end solutions/products impacting multiple transversal domains.
  • Exhibit extensive technical and coaching skills.
  • Manage multiple projects of various sizes and scopes.
  • Master the entire technology stack of the system.
  • Maintain a high-level transversal view on technical and functional architecture and infrastructure landscape.
  • Research new technology trends, identify opportunities, and share insights within the technology organization.
  • Challenge engineering standards, principles, guidelines, and frameworks (performance, security, re-usability, scalability, sustainability, DevSecOps).
  • Design, code, and test complex cross-domain solutions/products in a context-rich environment with many stakeholders.
  • Evolve architecture to support future requirements and define SLAs.
  • Anticipate problems instead of solving them.
  • Set up monitoring for performance, resource usage, and security.
  • Exhibit excellent judgment regarding decisions across many technology aspects of the project.
  • Reduce complexity of projects/services/processes to achieve more with less work.
  • Advise business on the technical feasibility of new ideas.
  • Ensure documentation and knowledge transfer are in place.
  • Communicate with non-technical team members, recognize key risks, and manage dependencies.
  • Be available in case of incidents and perform permanence-on-duty if needed.
  • Functionally lead team members by providing effective feedback, coordinating activities, and moderating discussions.
  • Act as a servant leader and coach.
  • Decide on work assignments, coach associates and (senior) engineers, and maintain a clear view of team priorities.
  • Adjust team processes, listen to feedback, and guide the team through changes.
  • Reflect on and improve behavior constantly.
  • Be aware of strategic needs and priorities.
  • Impact the whole technology organization within a product area.
  • Act as a technical lead in transversal projects.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the technology department.
  • Demonstrate a consistent record of strong leadership.
  • Build leaders and act as a multiplier by sharing knowledge and delegating to help others grow.
  • Foster a knowledge-sharing culture by motivating colleagues to frequently share knowledge and demonstrate best practices.
  • Be a continuous learner, conceptual thinker, and problem solver with a growth mindset: creative, curious, innovative.
