Mission Title: Project Manager Regulatory Projects
Mission Goal:
As a Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure compliance of life insurance products, systems, and processes with evolving regulatory requirements such as Solvency II, IDD, ESG, and AML. You will serve as a liaison between business, compliance, and IT teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and customer-centric solutions.

- Project dashboards, risk logs, and stakeholder reports

Role & Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Manage end-to-end delivery of regulatory projects related to life insurance products, systems, and processes, from scoping to implementation.
- Define project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource needs.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including core business, legal, compliance, actuarial, and IT.
Regulatory Translation & Impact Analysis
- Translate regulatory requirements into actionable business and technical requirements.
- Assess impacts on products, processes, and systems, and propose mitigation strategies.
Product & Process Adaptation
- Collaborate with product owners to adapt life insurance offerings in line with new regulations.
- Ensure customer journeys, documentation, and disclosures meet compliance standards and respect guidelines on product oversight and governance (POG).
Risk & Compliance Alignment
- Liaise with compliance and risk teams to validate project scope and deliverables.
- Monitor regulatory timelines and ensure timely execution of required changes.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide regular updates to senior management and regulatory bodies when needed.
- Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and internal governance committees.
Expected Profile:
Knowledge:
- Proven experience in project or product management within life insurance or financial services.
- Strong understanding of life insurance products and Belgian/EU regulatory frameworks (e.g., FSMA, NBB, Solvency II, IDD).
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) is a plus.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects related to commercial & distribution matters in a Life Insurance context on time and within budget.
