Responsibilities:

1. Governance & Best Practices in Power BI
   • Coordinate and act as an expert to define best practices for organizing Power BI workspaces and datasets.
   • Manage user access and roles.
   • Structure reports for scalability and maintainability.
   • Design and build dashboards and reports in accordance with guidelines related to the usage of Databricks and Collibra.
   • Develop visualization strategies and techniques.
2. Requirements Gathering
   • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document BI/reporting needs.
   • Translate business questions into analytical requirements and data specifications.
3. Report & Dashboard Development
   • Design and build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI based on structured data models (e.g., star schema) available in Databricks following defined guidelines.
4. Data Understanding & Modeling
   • Work closely with data engineers, architects, and BI teams to understand upstream data models.
   • Support data governance and quality initiatives by ensuring reports and dashboards are well documented.
   • Ensure developments are optimized for performance, cost, scalability, and usability.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Power BI: Senior level (8-10 years) with Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certificate (PL-300).
• SQL: Senior level (8-10 years).
• Dimensional Modeling: Senior level (8-10 years).
• Retail Market Knowledge: Advanced level (5-8 years).
• Language Proficiency: Advanced in English, French, and Dutch (5-8 years).
• Team Lead or Coaching Experience: Senior level (8-10 years).
