Job Offer: F5 Security Specialist

Role Description

• Ensure compliance with established security policies.

• Regularly assess the technical condition of IT systems.

• Respond effectively in crisis situations (organized attacks, intrusions, virus detection, etc.).

• Develop scenarios and procedures to react efficiently in such cases.

• Advise on technical solutions to secure external, intranet, and internet connections.

• Detect security vulnerabilities in Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android environments.

• Provide technical solutions to address these vulnerabilities.

• Conduct IT systems risk analyses for management.

Required Education and Experience

• Degree in Computer Science or Electronics.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

• At least 5 years’ experience managing Palo Alto Firewalls (mandatory).

• Knowledge of Panorama (desired).

• At least 5 years’ experience with VPN and Web Proxy solutions (mandatory).

• At least 10 years’ experience with BIG-IP F5 (mandatory).

Specific Knowledge

• Strong command of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, and SNMP.

• Knowledge of routers, stateful packet inspection firewalls, and application firewalls (Palo Alto).

• Experience with BIG-IP F5 modules: APM + ASM (+AWAF) + LTM (minimum).

• Familiarity with Identity Provider and SSL VPN + GTM.

• Endpoint protection products.

• VPN solutions (remote access VPN and site-to-site VPN).

• Anti-virus protection systems.

• Content inspection engines for email and web browsing.

• Monitoring and log correlation tools such as Splunk, Nessus, and ELK.

• Operating systems: Microsoft Windows Azure, Windows Server, Enterprise Linux Server (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux), and Microsoft Windows for workstations (Windows 10, 11, etc.).

• Securing wireless local area networks (WiFi, WEP, WPA, WPA2).

• Encryption principles and algorithms (Public Key, Private Key, RSA, DES, 3DES, AES, etc.).
