As a Senior Solution Architect you will help build our application landscape, working closely with the Product & Technology and Customer Operations circles during a critical initiative involving shared services and network integration. The consultant will bridge the gap until a permanent hire is onboarded and coach the new internal architect during transition.

As a Senior Solution Architect you will help build our application landscape, working closely with the Product & Technology and Customer Operations circles during a critical initiative involving shared services and network integration. The consultant will bridge the gap until a permanent hire is onboarded and coach the new internal architect during transition.
Responsibilities:
- Define end-to-end solution architecture for initiatives aligned with our vision, guardrails and business objectives.
- Translate business needs into solution designs, alternatives, and transformation roadmaps.
- Document decisions, assumptions, and pro/con analyses for forums and stakeholders.
- Engage in stakeholder management across multiple teams and tribes.
- Provide guidance and coaching to the future internal architect.
- Ensure compliance with architectural principles and long-term modernization goals.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or equivalent through experience.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in solution architecture or enterprise architecture.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Agile methodologies, Lean Architecture
- Design principles (SOLID, Domain Driven Design, Microservices)
- Modelling techniques (UML, BPMN, ArchiMate, C4)
- Familiarity with telecom BSS/OSS systems and integration concepts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
- Proven seniority in solution architecture roles.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and initiative-taking attitude.
- Experience in high-level solution design (not detailed technical design).
- English fluency.
- Ability to coach and transfer knowledge.
- Dutch language skills.
- Experience in telecom industry.
- Knowledge of generative AI concepts.
- Agile certifications (experience is more important than certificates).
