Job Title: Solution Architect for Transversal Components

Description:

We are looking for a Functional Architect specializing in transversal components to join the team of IT Solution Architects within the transversal capabilities Tribe. This tribe manages assets such as API gateways, portals, e-archiving, various middleware, application logging, document management, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver solution architectures for a portfolio of projects.
• Work on target architecture, reference documents, and definition of standards patterns.
• Engage in quarterly discussions with the team's lead architect (QAP ceremony) to define scope topics.
• Focus areas include multichannel components, flexible authentication, middleware simplification, document management, archiving, functional logging, and portal integration.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Good working level in French or Dutch
• French: Good working level in Dutch or French
• English: Fluency is essential (both written and spoken)

Education:

IT background is essential.

Experience and Knowledge:

• At least 5 years as an IT architect.
• Technical experience in solution architecture and formal architecture frameworks and tools.
• Business experience in banking or insurance, or experience in large/multinational organizations.

Soft Skills:

• Autonomy and excellent networking with stakeholders.
• Ability to gather requirements, check completeness, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Meet deadlines without re-work.
• Ability to work in an agile at scale organization, agree on delivery plans, and commit to them.
• Clearly articulate architecture choices in English (written & spoken).

Work Arrangement:

Full-time role, 50% on-premise, 50% homeworking from Belgium.
