Product Owner - Senior

Location: Brussels

Function Description:

• Design phase and project methodology: Build the product’s big picture, including its roadmap, and translate this to the development team.
• Clarify needs and draft key functional specifications according to agile methodology.
• Plan iterations and define priorities to ensure proper content delivery.
• Define priorities and monitor the Product Backlog, continuously prioritizing key business needs.
• Ensure stakeholder alignment on the product to be delivered.

Project Follow-up and Support:

• Initiate priority management approach, ensure product consistency and quality.
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (agile retrospectives, demo, test labs).
• Make decisions or arbitrate on delivered functionalities.
• Conduct Sprints Backlog live adjustments and follow-up.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Manage requirements and communication, ensuring good understanding of business needs.
• Liaise between all stakeholders and guarantee customer satisfaction.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor or Master Certification.

Telework Expectation:

50% on-site & 50% homeworking.

Required Experience / Knowledge:

• At least 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proven skills as a business analyst and experience in project-driven environments.
• Capable of speaking to IT, Ops, and business people.
• Agile methodology knowledge and experience preferable.
