Role Overview:

The Data Quality & Reporting Specialist will explore and profile key datasets, support the identification of quality drivers, and deliver actionable data quality insights through Power BI reporting. This role will serve as a bridge between data governance, business domain owners, IT architects, and data engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine data quality reports in Power BI, collaborating closely with data domain owners, stewards, and data governance consultants.
  • Partner with data governance consultants, functional analysts, and data engineers to ensure consistent and reusable data models supporting quality reporting.
  • Support Data Stewards and Domain Owners in defining, validating, and interpreting data quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Data Management Lead and data domain owners to operationalize the overarching data quality framework, incorporating recurring anomalies and insights.
  • Explore and profile datasets to understand data structures and quality issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting findings and feeding them into framework evolution and visual reporting.

Expected Profile:

  • Minimum 4–7 years of experience in data analysis and report creation roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to translate data findings into business context.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with Power BI.
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and working across business and IT functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with data governance, data stewards, and technical teams.
  • Self-driven, structured, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with evolving needs.
