Mainframe Developer Senior

Location: Antwerp (2 days on-site)

Description:

Join our agile mainframe team, where you will be responsible for the technical analysis, development, component testing, bug fixing, and support of our mainframe/CICS application. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely within the agile team to deliver optimal solutions in various contexts.
• Interpret requirements and translate them into high-quality development, adhering to guidelines for quality, best practices, budget, and scope.
• Develop software using Cobol V5 on IBM Z/OS mainframe.
• Understand the technical architecture and re-use technical components effectively.
• Document the software developed.
• Provide occasional third and second-line support.
• Actively contribute to the agile way of working.
• Perform analytical work, technical implementation, and quality testing.

• Hands-on mentality.

Experience:

• Significant experience (5+ years) in Cobol programming.
• Expertise in IBM mainframe, CICS, VSAM, Batch, RDZ, JCL, and SDSF.
