Senior Tester - Quality Assurance

Context:

The Bridges platform is at the heart of our organization for managing members, premiums, fees and accounting flows. Within the modernization process – the transition from an existing central management system to a modular, web-based platform –, we are looking for a Senior Tester that guarantees the quality of each release through thorough test preparation, meticulous execution and analytical follow-up of results. You work with business analysts, developers and key users to ensure that new or changed functionalities are delivered flawlessly, stable and usable.

Responsibilities:

Test preparation and planning
Analyzing user stories, functional documentation and process flows to set up test scenarios.
Drawing up and maintaining test plans and test cases in Azure DevOps.
Determining test priorities based on impact, risk and dependencies.
Preparing test data and validation criteria for financial and administrative flows (such as contributions, settlements, direct debits, corrections, etc.).
Test execution
Conduct functional, integration and regression tests in different environments (TST, UAT, pre-PRD).
Closely checking calculations, views and data consistency in Bridges.
Verify results from source documentation (such as Excel settlements, SEPA files, or migration files).
Documenting test results and deviations with clear reproducible steps.
Defective analysis and follow-up
Logging, prioritizing and monitoring defects in Azure DevOps, including retesting after solution.
Collaborate with analysts and developers to identify the cause and find a quick solution.
Checking the quality of solutions before release to production.
Reporting test status and quality findings to project management and QA manager.
Regression & UAT support
Maintaining a regression test set that is critical to the core processes (contributions, settlements, SEPA, corrections).
Guiding key users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
Documenting test findings and points for improvement for subsequent releases.
Collaboration & Quality Culture
Work in tandem with the team to track and further improve test standards.
Provide input on process optimizations that increase the testability of the system.
Sharing knowledge and coaching of less experienced testers or key users.
Actively contribute to the design and expansion of automated test scenarios.

Profile:

Knowledge & Experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing within complex business or financial applications.
Thorough knowledge of test methodologies (ISTQB or equivalent).
Experience with Azure DevOps, Excel and basic insight into databases and data verification.
Experience with testing processes such as contributions, accounting flows or payments is a major advantage.
Experience with or interest in automated testing (such as Selenium, Power Automate Desktop or similar tools) is an absolute asset.
Knowledge of Power BI or Postman is a plus.

Languages: Dutch and French on a professional level (reading, writing, speaking).
Training
Bachelor or master in IT, applied computer science or a relevant direction.
Certification in ISTQB Foundation or Agile Tester is a plus.
