For a client, we are looking for an IT System Engineer.

Workplace: Brussels, with a required presence of 2 days per week on site.

 

Context of the project:

Massive migration from TKGI to OpenShift to be finalized by December 2026. The project has a significant standardization debt (Helm standard, Kustomize, ArgoCD, Vault) with mostly junior teams and overwhelmed seniors.

Mission objectives:

Accelerate migration.
Ensure strict compliance with defined standards.
Reduce errors and rework.
Train and support teams to make them autonomous.
Play the role of Kubernetes technical referent in this migration.
Validate designs and compliance with GitOps standards (ArgoCD/Kustomize/Helm/Vault).
Accompany the teams on namespaces migrations.
Answer technical questions and absorb the burden of seniors.
Conduct reviews, correct approaches, secure deployments.
Structure a simple and reproducible migration method.
Train the juniors/mediors through daily coaching.

Required qualifications:

Recent experience as an IT System Engineer.
Skills confirmed in Gitlab.
Expertise in Helm, Kubernetes, and Kustomize.
Confirmed skills in Openshift and Pipeline.

Languages required:

Proficiency in Dutch and English or French and English.
