For a client we are seeking an IT Architect.

Assignment Overview:

The Food Production roadmap is focused on establishing production sites, implementing a new ERP and MES system, and optimizing business processes and roles. As a Solution IT Architect, you will be part of one or more project teams, contributing to the development and optimization of the Food Production application landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design IT solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.

• Ensure support for the IT solution with the client, project team, and support/run team.
• Identify IT risks and facilitate decision-making when evaluating alternative solutions.
• Contribute to the evolution of the reference architecture in line with business needs and IT field advancements.
• Ensure alignment of solution architecture with enterprise architecture.
• Monitor the realization of solutions in accordance with the solution architecture.
• Document architecture decisions in artifacts according to expected standards.
• Participate in architecture governance processes and boards.

Reporting:

• Weekly status updates to Project Managers.

• Monthly content updates to the Enterprise IT Architect.
• Monthly status updates to the immediate Team Manager.

Practical Information:

• Full-time assignment (40 hours/week) with a possibility of a 4/5 regime (32 hours/week).

• Location: Halle, with the possibility of up to 3 days of telecommuting per week (minimum of 2 days onsite).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT architecture and solution design.

• Strong understanding of ERP and MES systems.
• Ability to identify and manage IT risks.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in architecture governance is a plus.
