Medior Infrastructure Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Azure systems, ensuring stability and service continuity.
• Configure and review monitoring of IT components to maintain supportability, stability, and performance.
• Provide high-level support and oversee coordination, analysis, follow-up, and resolution of incidents and problems.
• Support and maintain server systems, including Windows and Azure, with Linux and ESX as assets.
• Manage firewall, DNS, and DHCP requests.
• Perform upgrades and security patching for Windows and Linux systems.
• Follow-up on open incidents and changes.
• Assist IT colleagues in meetings, specifically regarding Windows systems.
• Write documentation and procedures, and follow-up existing procedures.
• Translate technical language to support customers.
• Automate deployment of scripts and software.
• Manage external and internal partners for incidents, changes, and escalations.

Technical Environment:

• Mastery of Microsoft Windows 10 to Windows 11, Windows Server 2016 to Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, AAD Connect, and Azure.
• Knowledge of Linux (Red Hat versions 8 and 9, Centos 9) and OpenShift (version 4.16 to 4.18) is an asset.
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, and troubleshooting on Azure, Windows, and Linux.
• Familiarity with virtualization, automation (GIT, Powershell scripting, Ansible), and monitoring tools (Zabbix, Dynatrace) is an asset.
• Applications knowledge of Jira software and Netterrain is an asset.
• Networking knowledge, including firewall requests and diagnostics, is an asset.

Profile:

• At least 3 years of experience in Windows systems.
• Strong analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate and plan changes and small projects.
• Precision in changes and incidents with regular follow-up.
• Certifications in Windows, Azure, OpenShift, GIT, Ansible, Fortigate are a plus.
• Assertive in relation with IT colleagues and business end users.
• Efficient under pressure and flexible with priorities.
• Ability to translate technical information for customers.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Fluent in spoken and written French and English; Dutch is a bonus asset.
