Context:
To support organizational changes within the Retail & B2B department, we are seeking an interim UX/UI Designer. The UX/UI Designer plays a vital role in shaping user interfaces and defining customer journey phases for digital transformation projects. Your core responsibility will be to translate business requirements and user needs into intuitive, visually compelling, and consistent interfaces. This includes designing wireframes, creating prototypes, and delivering pixel-perfect designs to validate processes with business teams and drive digital development. As part of the UX team, you will work closely with service designers, UX designers, UX copywriters, as well as product owners, business stakeholders, and developers.
Tasks:
- Create high-fidelity prototypes for both web and mobile applications that bring concepts to life.
- Design wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes for new features and platform enhancements.
- Develop user flow prototypes for stakeholder review, establishing the foundation for functional analysis and technical development.
- Optimize UX on existing website sections by designing improved layouts and interactions.
- Partner with cross-functional business teams to seamlessly integrate existing and new functionalities into the customer experience.
- Identify usability weaknesses in current digital touchpoints and recommend data-driven improvements that align with UX best practices and facilitate intuitive customer journeys.

- Strong visual design sense and meticulous attention to detail and consistency.

- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Open-minded, curious, critical, and adaptable in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Good level of English (French or Dutch is a plus).
Technical Skills:
- Mastery of Figma for UI design and prototyping.
- Solid understanding of design systems, component libraries, and responsive design.
- Comfortable assisting with qualitative research activities such as interviews, user testing, and facilitating workshops.
- Knowledge of web technologies and constraints (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) appreciated.
- Experience creating deliverables for multi-platform environments (web, app, software).
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodology.
