Functional Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist
Role Overview:
As a Functional Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist, you will serve as the crucial link between business and technology. Your role involves analyzing and prioritizing business requirements, translating needs into scalable Salesforce solutions, and supporting both clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. You will assist technical teams, perform (no-code) configurations, and ensure a smooth and high-quality implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Analysis & Scoping:
- Analyze, gather, and prioritize client business requirements to deliver customized solutions.
- Capture and translate requirements into the appropriate Marketing Cloud setup.
- Guard and monitor project scope from start to finish.
Design & Implementation:
- Translate business needs into efficient and scalable technical designs and processes.
- Perform (no-code) Salesforce Marketing Cloud configurations.
- Apply Salesforce best practices to build robust, future-proof solutions.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, and Project Managers to ensure successful implementations within time, budget, and scope.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Test functionalities and ensure overall quality assurance.
- Draft, challenge, and review test scenarios with clients and internal teams.
- Analyze test outcomes and communicate bugs/change requests to the technical team.
Client Guidance & Communication:
- Prepare and deliver demos to clients.
- Facilitate client test sessions and manage expectations clearly.
- Deliver end-user training and create documentation to enable client self-sufficiency.
- Communicate transparently and professionally throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Team Development:
- Share expertise and mentor team members to encourage continuous growth and learning.
Your Profile:
- Proficient in Dutch and English.
- Strong functional knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with digital marketing and an affinity for IT solutions.
- Familiarity with concepts such as SEA, SEO, Google Analytics, API Integrations.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to set the right priorities.
- Clear, professional, and client-oriented communication style.
- Detail-oriented, critical thinker who maintains oversight.
- Comfortable in a role that blends analysis, client guidance, communication, and hands-on execution.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, independent thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong leadership skills to lead customer workshops and trainings.
