Project Procurement Manager
Location: Antwerpen, with occasional remote work possible.
Contract Duration: Full-time, starting early 2026, with a minimum duration until the end of 2026 and a possibility for extension.
Language Requirements: Proficiency in Dutch (native or fluent) and English (professional level).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for CAPEX projects ranging from €1 million to €20 million.
- Ensure compliance with CAPEX project procurement procedures and governance.
- Collaborate with Project Management and Engineering teams to align sourcing strategies with corporate objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and ensure risk mitigation and cost optimization.
- Oversee the procurement strategy at various project stage gates, including Long Lead Items (LLI) and full procurement lists.
- Present procurement strategies to project governance and stakeholders.
- Manage bridge funds and interact with category leads as per the procurement plan.
- Implement tools, processes, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resolve critical expediting and claim issues, manage risks proactively, and ensure project objectives related to procurement are met.
- Document contract award decisions based on transparent risk assessments.
- Collaborate in internal and external audits and manage vendors and contractors onsite.
Technical Profile Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project procurement, with at least 2 years in CAPEX project procurement.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and able to work independently.
- Acts as a trusted partner for Project Managers, without direct team management responsibilities.
Methodology/Certification Requirements:
- Familiarity with CAPEX procedures and project governance.
