Consultant Specialized in Software Asset Management

Function Description:

The Digital Workplace department is looking for a consultant specialized in software asset management to manage its SNOW platform and assist with the operational management of software licenses.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the SNOW Software platform daily (License Manager, Inventory, SCCM/Intune/AD integrations).
• Ensure continuous monitoring of software compliance for strategic vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Adobe, etc.).
• Provide regular reports on usage, compliance, and costs.
• Identify discrepancies (over/under-licensing) and propose immediate corrective actions.
• Prepare and manage vendor audits in coordination with internal teams.
• Support Finance and Procurement teams during contract negotiations and renewals.
• Optimize the software portfolio by ensuring reuse or removal of unused licenses.
• Maintain ongoing awareness of changes in licensing models (cloud, subscription, hybrid).

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience (3–5+ years) in Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• Strong knowledge of SNOW Software (License Manager, Inventory, SAM Intelligence).
• Expertise in licensing models (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Adobe).
• Experience in an ITSM / ITIL RUN environment.
• Analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI or equivalent).

Communication Skills:

• Languages: Native French or Dutch, English at C1 level.

Personal Skills:

• Rigorous and compliance-oriented.
• Good communication with RUN teams and nontechnical departments (finance, procurement, legal).
• Analytical mindset and proactive in resolving discrepancies.
• Results-oriented and focused on budget optimization.
