Business Process Validation (BPV) Test Lead
Start Date: February 2026
Duration: 1 year, full-time
On-Site Requirement: 2 to 3 days per week in the office
Languages: English and Dutch
Role Overview:
As a BPV Test Lead, you will ensure that initiatives, increments, and products meet the required quality standards as defined by the BPV test approach in the delivery plan. BPV testing represents the final validation step before handover to stakeholders, guaranteeing that increments delivered by multiple partners provide the intended value and quality. You will drive the adoption of the QA strategy to ensure quality standards in IT solution expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement BPV test strategies and plans for initiatives and products.
- Focus on business and functional driven testing.
- Define test scope and objectives based on changes and risk assessments.
- Coordinate test needs (data, automation, environment) and assign tasks.
- Monitor progress, manage test results and defects via dashboards.
- Report deviations from QA strategy and provide recommendations.
- Conduct regular status meetings and update stakeholders.
- Act as coordinator between Tribe & Cluster Leads, Product Owners, and partners.
- Highlight risks and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure BPV test plans align with QA expectations.
- Identify opportunities to optimize testing processes.
- Align and coordinate testing activities with external partners.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent through experience.
- Experience: Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar function.
- Proven knowledge of testing methodologies.
- Experience with regression testing, test automation, and test reporting.

- Experience with Jira/Xray (or similar tools) for defect and dashboard management and documentation sharing via Confluence.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (English mandatory & preferably also Dutch).
- Proactive attitude, structured approach, and ability to challenge teams constructively while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality throughout the process.
Nice to Have:
- Telecom industry experience.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and QA metrics.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright).
- ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or similar certification (Foundation level minimum).
- Familiarity with agile environments and QA strategy implementation.
- Experience working with offshore teams.
