V-It is looking for a Business/Functional Analyst for a client in East Flanders.
Fulltime
YOUR CHALLENGE
Guiding the Release Flow Toward Effective, High‑Quality Solutions
You take ownership of a critical part of the release lifecycle — from translating customer expectations into clear functional insights to delivering well‑defined requirements to the development team. You oversee and coordinate all related processes, ensuring smooth collaboration and consistent progress.
You guarantee that functional analyses are delivered with precision, quality, and speed. This means proactively aligning with both internal teams and customers, identifying needs early, and driving the actions required to keep the process on track.
With your natural people skills, you do the follow‑up of a small team of functional analysts.
You challenge whether what they deliver meets the customer's requirements and occasionally carry out a functional analysis from A to Z yourself.
As the senior functional analyst, you understand the applications in depth and have a sharp view of what users truly need. You connect business expectations with technical feasibility, shaping solutions that make a real difference.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Your day begins with steering the full requirements lifecycle. You work closely with customers, product owners, and internal stakeholders to uncover new needs, prioritize them, document them clearly, and validate that they align with real business value.
You coordinate the functional analyst team, plan and organize work, review deliverables, coach team members, and collaborate with Delivery, Operations, and Development during releases.
YOU ARE
You have strong experience in functional analysis, people management, and IT delivery. You bridge business and IT, understand software development, and ensure delivered solutions meet expectations.
