Data and AI Management Specialist

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: 01/03/2026
• Duration: Minimum 1 year, with potential for extension
• Work Regime: Full-time
• Location: Vlaams-Brabant (Hybrid - partly onsite and partly remote)

Responsibilities:

• Streamline data flows within the unit, collaborating closely with the ICT department to ensure efficient and secure data exchange.
• Standardize data structures, including experimental process flows, tool recipes, characterization setups, and other related datasets.
• Implement processes defined at corporate or unit level, ensuring consistent application and compliance.
• Suggest AI-for-research topics and maintain an overview of ongoing AI activities, acting as a central point for AI initiatives and knowledge sharing.
• Support operational teams in reporting and dashboarding.
• Promote adherence to the Information Security Policy.
• Enable, roll-out, and provide feedback on new data and security initiatives.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data management, AI implementation.
• Strong understanding of data architectures, data workflows, and AI technologies.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
