Subject Matter Expert Finance

Mission Context:
- Act as the right-hand to the Head of Finance.
- Engage in BAU monitoring, process assessment, optimization, and PM Finance development.
Function Description:
The Subject Matter Expert will possess in-depth knowledge of a specific finance topic, enabling them to perform related tasks at a master level. Responsibilities include supporting reporting, control, and consolidation to enhance performance. The expert will provide advice, conduct ad-hoc analysis, and offer specialized finance services.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base by gathering and organizing financial and non-financial performance data.
- Monitor data relevance, consistency, and exhaustiveness.
- Participate in target, budget, and forecast cycles.
- Optimize processes and tools to improve reporting quality.
- Ensure consistency across entities.
- Identify areas for improvement and advise management on performance.
- Develop the PMO Finance function and act as a change management agent.
- Analyze and evaluate procedures, processes, and tools to identify problems and propose improvements.
- Initiate and manage small projects related to reporting, control, and consolidation.

Education:
Master's degree in economics or a similar qualification.
Required Experience/Knowledge:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance, including accounts reporting, control, or consolidation processes.
Technical Experience:
- Mandatory experience in financial reporting.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and Access.
Business Experience:
- Ability to deliver high-quality work on time.
- Capable of working within diversified finance procedures and standards.
