Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current FinOps practice, including processes, documentation, governance, accountability, and dashboards.
• Identify and quantify missed opportunities and waste.
• Evaluate the effectiveness, skillset, and maturity of FinOps resources.
• Perform a maturity assessment based on a set of agreed FinOps capabilities.
• Recommend both short-term and structural improvements.
• Provide an updated Azure cost baseline and an implementation roadmap.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in FinOps.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cost management.
• Experience in quantification and baseline establishment.
• Proficiency in stakeholder facilitation.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently within a 20-day rapid engagement period.

Deliverables:

• Initial Assessment Report and client workshop(s).
• Maturity assessment and financial analysis.
• Final Emergency Consulting Report containing:
  • Final assessment
  • Updated Azure cost baseline
  • Recommendations on target state and roadmap
  • Updated Azure cost baseline

Practical Information:

• Engagement: Time & Materials capped at 20 business days.
• Estimated workload: 12–15 days.

Governance & Access Requirements:

• Full access to systems and data.
• Stakeholder availability.
• Transparent information sharing.
