Data Engineer

Mission Context:

As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in preparing and making data available securely for various business and functional uses, including reporting, analytics, and applications. Your contributions will significantly enhance productivity for all data consumers by delivering well-designed and operational data assets for both global and specific local needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collect business requirements using various techniques.
• Translate requirements into efficient data solutions by designing data flows, models, and stores.
• Analyze and define the best data sources and integration rules.
• Prototype solutions to support business validation.
• Design and develop logical and physical data models and stores.
• Industrialize data feeding and delivery processes.
• Streamline data pipelines for maximum enterprise-wide usage.

Language Requirements:

• Native Dutch or French
• English is a plus

Education:

Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, or engineering. A PhD is an advantage. Candidates with substantial analytics knowledge from other academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Certifications:

Certification in SAS EG, SAP, Tableau, or related technologies is a plus.

Experience and Knowledge:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.
• Mandatory technical experience with SAS EG, SQL, Oracle, and preferable experience with Python, Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, Tableau.
• Prior experience in data analytics, with project management experience being preferable.
