Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Analyze issues and propose improvements.
• Evaluate incoming change requests or projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify solutions and evaluate options.
• Develop business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Act as an interface with stakeholders.
• Bridge business needs with IT, defining business scope, target operating model, and interfaces.
• Prepare cases for Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and organize or execute BAT.
• Follow up on the implementation of changes.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Good spoken communication skills.
• French: Good spoken communication skills.
• English: Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Education:

Master’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent through experience.

Experience and Knowledge:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Preferable knowledge of technical aspects of daily banking, including mainframe and distributed applications.
• Business expertise in daily banking products and processes.
• Ability to understand and communicate complex business topics and their link with IT.
• Experience as a Business Analyst in a banking environment is preferable.
• Experience in project management within a bank.
• Familiarity with agile methodology.
• Trained in business analysis methods and tools.
