IT Functional Analyst

Mission Context:

The IT Functional Analyst will describe current processes, elaborate and adapt detailed technical designs, and develop programming code within the context of a P&L project. The role requires adherence to enterprise standards and consideration of required quality and performance levels. A strong understanding of financial concepts is essential to propose detailed solutions, develop, and test final results.

Responsibilities:

• Elaborate detailed technical designs based on current process analysis.

• Develop new code in Python according to enterprise standards, ensuring quality and performance.
• Estimate development workload.
• Prepare for production installation, including integration and assembly testing.
• Support test management in executing tests and fixing bugs.
• Document development activities, including design, code, unit testing, and code review.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Sound knowledge

• French: Sound knowledge
• English: Sound knowledge

Required Experience/Knowledge:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.

• Practical knowledge of Python, Access Database, SQL, and data structuring.
• Strong technical analysis skills and ability to work in an Agile environment (MVPs).

Business Experience:

• Master’s degree in financial mathematics or actuarial science.

• Knowledge of ALM business is preferable.
• Familiarity with internal ALM models is a plus.
