Lead Engineer for Vulnerability Management

Role Overview:
As a consultant for Vulnerability Management, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a new target operating model. This role involves transitioning part of the service from an external supplier to internal operations, moving from Qualys appliances to Qualys sensors, and ensuring a smooth and efficient process. The ideal candidate will have an engineering mindset, with a strong background in vulnerability management, operational design, and tooling renewal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Model Redesign:
- Design and implement a new target operating model for vulnerability management.
- Ensure the model supports the transition from external supplier to internal operations.
- Align the operating model with industry best practices and strategic objectives.
- Tooling Renewal:
- Oversee the transition from Qualys appliances to Qualys sensors.
- Evaluate and recommend necessary changes in tooling to support the new operating model.
- Ensure seamless integration of new tools with existing systems.
- Operational Execution:
- Develop and execute a detailed plan for the transition process.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the transition, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure successful implementation.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including IT, security, and operational teams.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress and impact of the transition.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure all teams are aligned and informed.
- Engineering Mindset:
- Apply an engineering approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to optimize the operating model.
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
