Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join a dynamic aviation IT environment.

In this role, you will act as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood, analyzed, and translated into effective IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for new IT systems

• Analyze existing systems, processes, and technologies to identify improvement opportunities

• Produce clear and structured documentation such as:

  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)

  • Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)

• Ensure alignment between business needs and IT solutions, working closely with development teams

• Facilitate communication between business, IT, and external vendors

• Participate in the design and validation of system architecture, workflows, and user interfaces

• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices

• Support project delivery by collaborating with project managers to ensure scope, timeline, and budget adherence

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst

• Strong understanding of logistics operations (air & ground transport)

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear and actionable deliverables

• Strong communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and validation processes

• Proficiency in business analysis techniques such as:

  • Process modeling

  • Data modeling

  • Use case analysis

  • Business rules specification

Technical & Methodological Skills

• Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), especially strategic design

• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

• Familiarity with SDLC processes and tools

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) is a plus

• Experience with aviation-related systems (e.g. flight operations, crew scheduling, cargo systems) is a plus

Additional Skills

• Strong attention to detail and high-quality documentation skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Certification such as CBAP is a plus

• English: Fluent (spoken and written)
