You will work within the Aviation Network Operations domain, focusing on IT systems that support logistics operations, including air and ground transport (line haul movements).
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join a dynamic aviation IT environment.
In this role, you will act as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood, analyzed, and translated into effective IT solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for new IT systems
Analyze existing systems, processes, and technologies to identify improvement opportunities
Produce clear and structured documentation such as:
Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
Ensure alignment between business needs and IT solutions, working closely with development teams
Facilitate communication between business, IT, and external vendors
Participate in the design and validation of system architecture, workflows, and user interfaces
Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices
Support project delivery by collaborating with project managers to ensure scope, timeline, and budget adherence
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Strong understanding of logistics operations (air & ground transport)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate complex requirements into clear and actionable deliverables
Strong communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and validation processes
Proficiency in business analysis techniques such as:
Process modeling
Data modeling
Use case analysis
Business rules specification
Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), especially strategic design
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Familiarity with SDLC processes and tools
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) is a plus
Experience with aviation-related systems (e.g. flight operations, crew scheduling, cargo systems) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and high-quality documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Certification such as CBAP is a plus
English: Fluent (spoken and written)
Dutch is a plus
