Machine Learning Engineer

Role Description:

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in promoting the adoption of best practices in industrial code development within the ML&AI community. Your responsibilities will include developing production-ready ML pipelines and integrating existing ML solutions into industrial pipelines. You will be involved in the development, deployment, and monitoring of AI services, ensuring data quality, designing data flows, and integrating models into the production environment. You will facilitate communication between AI & Analytics teams and IT production to ensure seamless deployment of ML models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Data Scientists to define and develop solutions with production constraints in mind.
• Contribute to the automation and integration of ML pipelines in the production environment.
• Support Data Scientists in utilizing existing industrial solutions for building and monitoring AI services.
• Assist IT Production in parameterizing the target environment.
• Ensure models run error-free, are retrained as needed, and are monitored from both IT and business perspectives.

Language Requirements:

• English is mandatory
• Dutch and French are a plus

Telework Expectation:

50% on-site and 50% homeworking

Required Experience/Knowledge:

• At least 4 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in containerization/virtualization, AI platforms & IDEs, CI/CD (gitlab-ci), and Python
• Experience with code, model & data versioning, package management tools, and dependency management
• Preferable experience with PostgreSQL, integration using various technologies, model compression techniques, ELT/ETL tools, big data tools (Spark), data flow processing, and data visualization tools
