Job description:

Participate in innovative projects within the energy transition. Data plays a crucial role in supporting decision-making and sharing information with various stakeholders. We are looking for a Data Steward who is responsible for qualitative and well-documented data and processes within the organization.

Important tasks:

Develop and maintain a business glossary and ensure consistent use within the domain.
Defining and monitoring data quality rules and data lineage.
Collaborate with the Operations Domain Manager to capture and monitor critical terms and rules, including through Power BI.
Support with new products: prepare glossary, define reporting and supervise implementation.
Document operational and technical information and support the Competence Center.
Monitoring KPIs around data governance and data quality and proposing improvement actions.
Point of contact for data within the domain and handling of ad hoc questions.
Communicating data governance best practices within the team.
Contribute to the migration to a new data quality application (2026).
Focus on metering and rate settlement domains.

Requirements:

Good knowledge of Dutch and / or French and English.
At least 2 years of experience and affinity with the electricity sector is a plus.
Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI or similar tools.
Proactive, hands-on and analytically strong.
Strong communication skills and a team player.
