Data Quality Analyst
Location: Brussels

Responsibilities:
- Develop data quality controls to support efficient business processes related to client, KYC, and transactional data.
- Monitor data quality using dashboards and KPIs, and assist in their redesign and upgrade.
- Coordinate the resolution of data quality issues by analyzing and solving potential dysfunctions or non-optimized data usage.
- Identify and document data quality issues and their business impacts to support prioritization.
- Analyze root causes and propose solutions in collaboration with stakeholders such as IT, process, operations, and compliance.
- Support change management actions for impacted teams.
- Assist in data certification processes and contribute to Data Quality Assessment & Remediation Committees.
- Contribute to designing, monitoring, and reporting on common reference tools, consolidating and harmonizing them.
- Support Data Managers in maintaining key Financial Security data documentation and identifying valuable use cases.
- Develop expertise in Financial Security data flows and applications.
- Act as a key contributor to the development of Data Quality practices, sharing experience and best practices.
Language Requirements:
- Dutch: Good (or French)
- French: Good (or Dutch)
- English: Fluent
Education:
Master’s degree required.
Required Experience/Knowledge:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Quality Analysis within a banking environment.
- Understanding of data lifecycle and data usage.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Business experience in Financial Security domains (KYC, AML, Sanctions).
Technical Experience:
- Proficiency in Office tools (Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Preferable experience in stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of banking databases.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Collibra, Ab Initio).
- Development and/or use of dashboards (e.g., Tableau).
- Experience with Business Objects.
- Familiarity with digital culture and the digital ecosystem.
- SQL, SAS, Python skills are a plus.
Business Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis with business impacts.
- Preferable experience in the Financial Security data domain within banking.
